Traditional Handmade Lokta Paper

Lokta paper, also known as Nepali paper, comes from the fibrous bark of plants from the Daphne family that grow in Nepal’s Himalayan region. Artisans traditionally process the fibers and form the paper sheets by hand. As a result, each sheet may show slight variations in texture, thickness and decorative details.
